  • Chuck Palahniuk was born on 21 February 1962 in the state of Washington. He is a writer and essayist who writes trangression fiction, satire, horror literature. His real name is Charles Michael Palahniuk.

  • Palahniuk grew up on a farm east of Washington state. After attending State University for a while, he went to Oregon University and completed his studies there. Contrary to what you might think, it is the first novel, Invisible Monsters, that does not write any literary text until the age of thirty. This novel was not accepted by the publishers because of its content, but Palahniuk wrote the Fighting Club, which is much more “destructive” because of this fury, and this novel has been well-read by publishers.

 

  • For three years after college, Palahniuk worked as a mechanic on the assembly line at a company called Freightliner. The first texts are about vehicle modification procedures and truck repairs.

 

  • He lives in an event that has had a great impact on the emergence of the Fight Club.
