Mountain Range

  • It separates one from the other, the rivers from the other, and the earth forms similar to it. Some mountains in the same mountain range may have different geological features than others. Volcanoes, mountains or fold mountains can be formed from different rock types. Most of the geologically young mountain ranges on Earth’s surface are either the Pacific Ring of Fire or the Alpine Belt.
